Don't bother. The price is right ($20) for the channels you get, and they have a semblance of on-demand stuff (you can go back a couple days and start shows from the beginning), but most of the time the picture streams in YouTube circa 2007 quality, with the occasional blip of HD. Freezes and stutters and buffers no matter what device you're using (btw, you can only stream to one device at a time). It's not our router, Netflix and other streaming services are almost always crystal clear. It's all on their end somewhere. Could be that they smooth out the kinks, but it's just not worth it right now, in case you were wondering.

It always seemed like something that will be amazing in 2-3 years but not right now.

The Sling TV website is completely, hopelessly broken. I've been trying to edit my subscription for two days before the free trial was over, and every single time the page comes up "Whoops, something went wrong." So I refresh the page, and then it finally works, but when I get to the next page the "submit order " button doesn't work. Every single time, every single web browser I've tried, even browsers on tablets, doesn't matter. So finally I hit the cancel subscription button, and that button worked just fine. Read that carefully, and know all there is to know about their competence: The only button that properly works on the Sling TV website is the button that loses them money. I figured I could just restart my subscription and make the edits then - but no, because once again, the only button that properly works on slingtv.com is the cancel subscription button. I guess they just don't want my money, because as I said I've been throwing it at them for two days and they refuse to catch it.

So, I decided to give it one last go on the Xbox One, which is where I originally signed up (to get the free month). Tells me that no such member account exists, so I "sign up" using the EXACT same user name, CC info, etc. that I used before, which currently exists in the Sling TV database, and with which I can sign in on their website as an existing member. I go through the whole setup...and it gives me another free month trial. Hopefully I can just keep doing this every month :lol

If it worked on Chromecast and had USA I'd be in for wrasslin. I imagine eventually both of those things will happen.
