"Say what you will about the CIA," a band performing at the event told the Post, "but everyone there was so passionate and cared so much about what they do, and that was amazing to see."

considering TED talks is the type of cac shit Aaron McGruder would think up, obviously the CIA is involved.

That's a rather extraordinary rendition of "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."

When was the last time anyone gave a shit about TED? 2010 maybe?

I was once having a conversation with a group of white people and the discussion turned to TED Talks. Each person went on and on about their favorite talk, what they learned, there was debate over which was the most academically engaging...and then finally someone asked me what my favorite Ted Talk was. I quietly noted that my favorite was the one about wiping your hands with one paper towel after using the bathroom.

Needless to say my selection did not spur any conversation or debate.

Hans Rosling's first talk is still cool, but I can't think of any other worth a damn.
No, wait, there's one that's pretty much a list-icle about how humanity could be wiped out by asteroids and other cosmic phenomena but I have a hard time finding it.
