I thought this guy was a pick up artist type, but it seems he's made some black empowerment films as well--Hidden Colors.

But I agree that a lot of black republicans coon it up for white people. Nothing wrong with being a black republican but something is wrong when you're getting trotted out to say things white people would get in trouble for saying.

Honestly I haven't watched them. I'd imagine there's some good information in there, but underneath a variety of ignorant stuff.
I'm baffled at these black militants who spend so much time dissing black women. He's not worse than Tommy Sotomayor but jeez...if a black woman dates a white man that is in no way an indictment against black men. Black men don't own black women. Ultimately these dudes seem very insecure. Black women are actually achieving shit, graduating, etc and these militants have been trying to find a way to explain it.

They're trash. I respect the intent ( rebalancing the whitewashing of history ) but...
What they really remind me of is like 1880-1920s colonial historian work. A lot of speculation and flat out inaccuracies, based on no evidence. Assumptions being extrapolated from minimal evidence. Barely scientific / ascientific use of various terminologies, for example a lot of the melanin stuff. It's just very amateur, biased, jumps to conclusions... It's heavily romanticized, more about self-esteem than fact and as a result is shite.
Melanin stuff? Isn't that what gives your skin color? American blacks aren't the only ones with it lol.
