"Libertarian"
If specifically speaking about the syndrome I use "on the spectrum" because I'm not a mental health professional qualified to make that kind of diagnosis. (Unless informed by the person that they've been diagnosed as such.)
As it's little more than a generic insult now, there's usually an adjective that more accurately conveys what's actually meant by the insulting party. English has hundreds of thousands of words, use a useful one or make yourself useful and read a book instead of shitposting.
For example, the word special fellow is often applied to someone who is essentially talking to themselves in a discussion. Solipsistic is much more accurate a word to describe that behavior than special fellow.
Overinforming is an awkward compound noun, but it's better than special fellow when someone veers into discussing a subject at a level found tedious or disintetesting.
To me special fellow is a combination of pedantic and unrelenting, with a strong dose of social cluelessness to boot. I wish I could think of a better term for this than special fellow, but it's sorta perfect.
I've never watched TBBT but it seems this Sheldon character is similar?
Call we just say "look at this Sheldon"?
spergy, to me, doesn't necessarily mean "solipsistic", although pointless exposition and rhetorical exercise ride sidecar. to me, it means an unhealthy obsession with establishing canon or an orthodox structure for something utterly trivial in defiance of basic social norms, and a general cluelessness about human interaction coupled with a weird, almost fantastic level of self-delusion.
On a serious note, it's extremely difficult to curtail the use of ableist language once you get socialized to not see it (or care that you're using it)
I had to remind my mind about a typical anti-roma slur she used the other day and she was like "oh shit you're right."
Easy enough.
She got gypped and wound up with dissociative identity disorder .I had to remind my mind about a typical anti-roma slur she used the other day and she was like "oh shit you're right."
Easy enough.

Isn't aspergers really mild on the autism spectrum and typically hard to diagnose? I think Karas advice is best to just be specific about the individuals traits, whether your goal is to give constructive criticism or just be insulting.
