Despite Playboy's use of the female form paying the bills to allow them to publish daring journalism in the articles including pro-Civil Rights articles and an interview with Martin L. King that got them death threats in the 60's, pro-feminist articles, pro-abortion articles, pushing contraception in an era it was rejected, pro-homosexuality and LGBT rights in an era when it was hostile and got them death threats. :doge
