take your struggle chips and sit in the corner

There were some Larry the Cable Guy chips out and about a few years ago that were ridiculously good. I haven't seen them around in a while but I haven't had a potato chip as good as those since.

The only right answer. I love them so much I ruin my mouth with a big bag of them eating them solo. :doge

That article is bad because I have seen both hickory sticks and coffee crisps outside of Canada. What I have not seen, however is "All Dressed" potato chips, which is my answer to this thread. It's kind of a mix between salt and vinegar and ketchup I guess. It's awesome.
I used to love sour cream and onion but I can't fuck with it anymore. Who knows why.

18 replies and no one said anything about bbq? BOAR PLZ

Anyone fuck with these? They're popular in Canada and sound delicious.

Seen those around lately but even the description on the back gives no indication as to what exactly they taste like so I've not risked it just yet. :-[

They're get so much more right than the simple name might suggest

Ruffles cheddar holds a special place in my heart since my grandma would always put that out for major events/holidays.

They're pretty good. Taste like bbq + vinegar
these are the best

Also they're made even more awesome by a good sour cream + onion dip.

I can't believe I'm the first to suggest this. When I'm feeling down, nothing is as good as dipping these in some mashed potatoes.
-
Sometimes I really need a base Lay's chip with its no frills greasy goodness. Sour Cream and Onion is okay. Sometimes they have a weird dullness to them though, where they aren't salty in the least.
Salt and vinegar.
God save the Queen. We mean it, man.
I heard this is the real reason Marx kicked Bakunin out of the First International, over which crisps were to be served at clandestine meetings. Marx preferred red paprika.

Aren't these made out of corn meal or something? They're absolutely delicious but I feel like other chips deserve another category for awards. And if we're going down the "made out of corn" chip path then I'll probably have to stan for some Doritos. IDGAF.

salt and vinegar
chips don't have a whole lot of room to be fancied up. The difference between lays and local kettle chips is not that huge. Kinda like donuts, there just isn't much foodie bullshit that can happen to chips, outside of basic things like getting them fresh from making them or using less preservatives and such. After that, anyone can add salt + spices and powders, which all taste the same whether they're local or mass produced.
-
Patatje Joppie flavor:

Salty as hell but I have a small bag once every few years :doge

It's perfectly normal to have crabs every few years. If you're a sailor. :gurl
-
Those quotes on the name are "unsettling". Would not buy.

usually rock the reduced fat cuz they're a lil less salty

Salt n' Vinegar is good, but needs to be in it's superior form to be considered best :tophat
