Title: Hey I wanna visit you guys in the next couple of weeks
Post by: Bebpo on November 05, 2015, 06:05:35 PM: Who lives somewhere interesting and can stand me? Been working a ton for last 2-3 months, was going to go to NYC for a business trip Sunday-Wed but tickets are way too pricey, so gonna pass. Feel like taking a 4 day weekend and flying somewhere new, anyone live anywhere interesting? Historical stuff? Cool scenic places? Awesome local food/museums?

Also, not Seattle because although Seattle's awesome I just stopped by there in the summer and hung with Mr. Gundam and Howard Alan Treesong.

Also x 2, sorry to new members but I don't know you and you could be a serial killer who really likes our emoticons, so I'm looking to hang out with someone whose been around for a few years.

Not looking for anyone to host me at their place or anything, just someone who'd be down to hang out and show me some cool stuff on a weekend. Maybe next weekend (Nov 14/15) or the weekend after (Nov 21/22).

Oh, and I guess we do have a lot of pretty girls here since I keep on running into them and give them drunk front & side hugs when I'm at parties. :doge

Probably wouldn't be able to give you much of a tour though since I work during most of my waking hours and therefore I don't get out much.

I've been to Vancouver pretty recently and so I'm good on that. Portland is tempting, and Spence is there I think which is super cool, so...maybe!

The weather has been a dreary fucking carbon copy of pac nw weather for the past week plus- gray and rainy. Temps are fine, though- highs in the mid 60's right now, lows in the low 50's.

There is literally fucking everything to see or do. Atlanta is a fun town. You can do all sorts of different shit. I like hanging out in out of the way, non 5 star spots though, so if you don't want to go places that aren't at least a little weird or dingy, don't hang with me. :P

In town the weekend after though? I'm leaning toward Atlanta, but I probably want to wait until like 7 days before and see what the weather forecast looks like before booking (make sure no hurricanes or anything). Are you near the main city? Dive bars and stuff are fine, would be cool to go to your poetry reading stuff.

If I went to Portland, I'd have to rent a car and drive 45 mins into the mountains to meet up with Spence and I'm more of a walking around cities on foot kind of person.
