What it costs: $99
What it needs: Samsung Galaxy S6 or Edge or maybe the Note? I dunno really
What it does: Best way to get your stupid head into decent VR short of a super hot PC gaming rig and an an Oculus DK3 or whatever
Will it make you look like an idiot: lol yes
Is there content: There's a bunch of dumb stuff on the Oculus store, yeah

I have been mad hot for this since playing a prerelease version of this last month at UNDISCLOSED GAME COMPANY. Shit is the real deal. Good latency (dedicated hardware on the box that interfaces through USB for excellent tracking that poops all over Cardboard from 20,000 feet. Also it's using the S6 display, which is a +HD OLED that's sadly the best display in my house.

Fuck preordering through Amazon, they don't actually have any in stock and don't know when they'll get any. Hit up Best Buy.

Yeah, I have the samsung galaxy s6. It is absolutely insane, this thing. So much fun stuff to do on the store. They have really done an amazing job at packaging this thing for consumers.

It's fucking great. So much weirdo stuff. Dead Secret is a really cool and creepy mystery game where you're stalked in this house (at one point you walk between two rooms upstairs, and in the corner of your eye you glimpse someone COMING UP THE STAIRS TO GET YOU and it's an incredible Holy Shit scare moment). The Adventure Time game is also superb, Omega Agent is a cool jetpack game that feels a little like Pilotwings. Lands End is a cool puzzle game by the Monument Valley guys and is really good to give to your parents to

The EVE game (Gunjack) is repetitive and sucks. Huge disappointment.

Uhh what else. 360-degree Photo Viewer's world explorer mode is amazing and I've spent a few hours inside that. Watching movies is also a hoot with Netflix.

Also there's some ADULT CONTENT available elsewhere that you can play with the MilkVR player...

Also I just spent an hour playing SMASH HIT and holy fuck what an awesome game. Rez + Smashing Glass Physics if that makes any sense. When you hit the later levels you are a cyberspace warrior
