What's there to explain? When your uncle starts throwing shade, bragging that his kid graduated college on time, without pointing any fingers but you really know who he smugly side eyeing, you put him in his place. Then you go back to eating your food like a champ as you ponder why you keep going to these family events.

Never witnessed any disrespectful shit like that however when my grandma was alive she used to ether my mom allllll Thanksgiving or Christmas day.

Mom: Let's get something straight, [insert brother's name], you're not old enough to have a girlfriend in the first place
Grandma: Remember when you were dating that hairy white guy? What's the name of that hairy thing from Star Wars...
