It's not a bad idea to keep notes of spots where you can't progress, otherwise you will spend some time running around and backtracking after you get the needed backups. I guess when I was a kid it was easier for me to remember spots like that ;-)
Finished Just Cause 3 (100%).
Also finished Axiom Verge on PS4. Will play again on Hard mode. It's not a bad idea to keep notes of spots where you can't progress, otherwise you will spend some time running around and backtracking after you get the needed backups. Yeah, really liked the function in the game where you can place two reminder markers per area on the map. That was really clever, I thought. Just sliiightly dumb that you can't remove them entirely once you've placed them.

Oh you can place two per area? Did not realize that, that makes them a lot more useful. Btw. i think you can remove them by "clicking" again on the same square.
I just completed Technobabylon and it was great. You can get it for 0 if you know where to go :shh
€13 for Axiom Verge is a bit too pricey for me. I'll get it at some later point.

Think its on sale now€13 was the sale price. Now it's back to €18 again.
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Grabbed this on sale a while back after seeing some glowing praise from people who's tastes I respect. Wasn't expecting much, but this shit was a blast for the most part. It manages to ride the line between being campy and overly serious much better than I would expect from a game about Nazis taking over the world. Ending boss fight is awful though. Boss fights in general are a pretty tired concept but throwing a player in a room filled with environmental hazards and a bulletsponge is so fucking lazy that after I died twice I just ratcheted the difficulty down to zero and ran through it. After 11 hours of shooting dudes to death, the penultimate test of the game shouldn't be 'run around trying to find enough ammo to kill this thing before it kills you'.
you do the hd versions of Kingdom Hearts?
you missed out bro. hd versions are the much-improved final mix versions and worth going thru if you never tried them. kh2fm in particular is amazing and way wayyyyyy better than kh2.
Finished D3 on PS4
Played hardcore with a friend, game is amazing on consoles. And Blizz has made big improvements.
Still a bit too easy
Yakuza 5. Holy shit that was like the biggest Yakuza game ever. The story was also kinda bad but there was lots of face grinding and putting people through plate glass windows so there ya go
Damn tiesto
how was snatcher?
I'm not a Koijma fan (like MGS1) but everything about Snatcher sounds right up my alley damn, always wanted to play it back in the day too, but Sega CD you know :-\
Now that I got a working PS again after two months I'm sure I'll finish some games again, Uncharted 4 will prob be the first.

Did you finally get all that cooling paste off the CPU?
Terminator 2 is one of my favorite movies ever and it's a HUGE inspiration to this game

I learned that if you have the PlayStation App installed you can actually delete PSN games on your profile that are at 0% (no trophies). It bugged me that I had Super Stardust on there for so long. No more!

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Firewatch, not so much. A lot of lead up to what felt like "it was the mysterious third cousin what committed the murders, the end!"Firewatch was unequivocally terrible. The story was middling with a poor ending, no character development to speak of, and visually the game looked like a student project. A huge letdown considering the praise it was given.
how was everbody has gone to rapture? Not very good. A better "walking simulator" is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter which shares the same mysterious vibe but has nicer visuals and a more interesting plot with a minor attempt at providing gameplay.
how was everbody has gone to rapture?Amazing soundtrack. The story is a well-acted radio-play, only instead of a narrator telling you what you see you walk through the environments yourself. Not all that interesting. Again, amazing soundtrack though.
Finished Shadow of Mordor before platinum-trophying it, because it started to feel like work. It was a great game, but had some trophies that encouraged a type of play that was micromanaging instead of Fuck Shit Up, which is its core strength.
Also determined to be "done" with Clash Royale. Was on a 10-loss streak, I'm not competing, and don't like being laughed at. I'm disturbed that it even bothered me, so I am removing it from my life.
I can officially say this is the first year that I can ever remember not beating a single game.

Just finished Dead Rising 4. Before the finish line.
How did you find it? Since I know you hate that they took out the timer but I kinda want it for a nice quick SP campaign to blow through.
Joe, how was Ray Gigant?
