Title: Grim Dawn / PoE performance on PC?
Post by: Cerveza mas fina on April 08, 2016, 02:52:56 AM
Haven't played on my laptop in a while and wondering if it would cut it to play these two games. Don't want to buy a new mouse and a game just to find out I'm SOL.

My lappy is an i7, 8GB ram, 555GT Asus from 2012. Screen is 1080p, but I could play in 720p budget blurry mode.

Now these games don't seem more demanding then what the laptop has played previously, but I know optimization doesn't exist anymore.

You'll be fine. Just don't run everything on high.

Thanks buddy.

I meant Pillars of Eternity btw, not Path of Exile, which I finished already.

I think Pillars is even less of a graphics beast than Path, relatively speaking. So, still should be fine.

It's really fun in a throw-back sort of way. I enjoyed it and at some point plan on finishing it.
