Title: Do you own any sport jerseys?
Post by: Cerveza mas fina on April 08, 2016, 05:29:10 AM: I have 4 now that I can wear, I also have a 90's Flamenco and Brazil shirt that I don't fit anymore. Think I have a Legia one too I got from my brother in law, but that's his XXL size :lol

Love how the Nike shirts feel on your skin, Puma is ok too, Adidas is horrible really. Hate putting that one on. Full of stitches on the inside that make me itch.

An AS Roma one too which was nice because there was no sponsor on top of decent colors and patterns. Also some national teams, Italy and Czech republic...

But I kinda grew out of it : they're expensive for what they are, quality is often so so (fabrics and such), the sponsors placard are often ugly as sin and on top of the often overboard branding I feel displeased being a walking ad space.

Those days for my sport clothes need I moved towards more buying cotton Canterbury polos (team branded or not : kinda like the Springboks. Steroided white africans playing boring defense to the max). Would like to try ASICS. Mizuno are okay. But that's not really jerseys per se. I kinda would like to have a couple more Hockey jerseys, I only have a Canucks one :doge . Finland and Sweden have nice ones. KHL clubs have some rad logos and colors but are filled with ads and not absurdly internet easy to import in the West.

I kind of get what you mean VK but I almost only wear them when there is a game, also I don't think I will keep buying many jerseys for team/countries I don't support so I'm kind of done. Except maybe getting a Legia one, or a Denmark one in the future. Might as well get more from my teams but they are expensive as you say.

Kind of wished I had the Dreamcast Arsenal shirt but oh well. Or that I had a 94/95 Ajax shirt.

I thought I was over collecting stuff like this and over football or something and wanted to be nice to my step sisters half sister ( :cac :idont ) who was big into football.

I don't think I'll ever get over this.

It was probably because only an actual player would wear the jersey of a third tier local soccer team, but it was probably one of the top five greatest moments of my life.

Found a Carlos Beltran Mets jersey in really good shape at a vintage store for peanuts. Girlfriend got me a Islanders John Tavares jersey, which is easily the nicest one I own. Hockey jerseys are great to wear casually, unlike baseball ones. I only wear them when I'm going to a game.

well i wanted to get one now but they're switching over to nike in 2017. so either i'll wait for the nike ones to drop or try and get an adidas one off clearance/sale around that time.
