I'm more of a fan of Brawndo™, The Thirst Mutilator.  It's got electrolytes.

Yeah, Ayran is really good. I haven't had any since Turkey in 2014.

A place in my college town made their own, and had a garlic variant that was DELISH. Last time I went there, they were just importing this stuff.  :-\

With garlic? Need to try. Would love a fresh made one in Turkey.

I think they made something similar in India too.
