First games I remember playing are Atari Star Wars the arcade machine and River Raid on my cousins C64
First console I owned was the NES
why does it not surprise me that tasty came from a house that had separate consoles for each kid
Seriously two N64s though? On release day? Shit's pretty baller tbh

This might get moved
my parents got a Colecovision when i was real young and i loved the shit out of it. helped that the few games they had were classics: donkey Kong, Zaxxon, and Venture. venture was definitely my favorite. for those that don't know it was a action game game that had a horror bent (well as much as you could have horror in those simple ass games back then). you would go into different rooms on floors of a mansion and you'd have to kill off all the enemies quick or else this invincible monster would come in and hunt you down. scared the shit out of me.
eventually they gave it away and i didn't care about games for a few years til they bought that NES triple pack that had Mario, duck hunt, and track n field with a zapper and power pad. i got hooked on Mario Bros and never looked back.
lolz gyromite wasnt thaaaat bad, provided you had never seen or heard about Mario Bros
I also vividly remember the first time I saw the NES and Super Mario Bros. in 1986. I was blown away by Super Mario Bros...the game's scrolling levels were mind-blowing back then.

i remember being blown away at the princess is in another castle bit. like how can a game even be this big?? then my cousin told me there's wasn't just two worlds, but a total of eight each with four levels. i flipped the fuck out :lol
