The humanzee (Homo sapiens sapiens × Pan) (also known as the Chuman or Manpanzee) is a hypothetical chimpanzee/human hybrid. An unsuccessful attempt to breed such a hybrid was made by Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov in the 1920s. I once saw half of a horror movie about a successful human-ape (gorilla or chimp, I forget) hybrid. The child grows up fairly normally, but come puberty he starts to get violent and murders people with his enhanced strength.

Yeah, I've seen stuff on that for years now. They apparently even have people pass out literature at their shows, and Grohl has made questionable comments during interviews and even onstage. It all gets played down. :-\

While working at a book and record store, the cashier next to me sold Dave Grohl a (Bore favorites) KISS box set in November 2001.
Note that KISS has made consistently better music than Foo Fighters. This is not an exaggeration.

Tbh I had no idea that the Soviets suffered the most casualties in WWII by far. The Eastern Front barely got any attention in my high school history class. I took AP European History, but our syllabus stopped right before WWII, as we ran out of time. Until a few years ago I really thought the U.S. and Britain did most of the heavy lifting in that war.
The Soviets had a rather lax...shall we say...workplace safety policy, compared to the US and German forces.
The US produced an ungodly amount of resources, outside of maybe tanks and artillery which the Soviets would always focus on, compared to everyone else combined at times. Allied forces were mostly supplied by the US, probably even before Pearl Harbor.
