TBH I don't really see myself as a fanboy anymore, I just have my own tastes and I'm fine if someone else likes different things. Gaming and even smartphone wars are so far down on the list of shit I actually care about these days. I still get excited over certain announcements but I've noticed that's been getting few and far between the last few years.

It's annoying that people just boil me down to my tastes sometimes or post things that they think will get to me (something like, "Nintendo stock down 100% - TASTY POST IF YOU'RE OK!!!" - really couldn't give a shit, haha :lol) but I brought that baggage on myself for my fanboy sins of the past.
