Beat it this morning. It was fun. I liked Prague and Golem City. Those places were really dense with people; they felt real and full of life. Golem City, in particular, is pulled straight out of cyberpunk. Super dense, gritty, grimy, it was perfect. Wish I spent more time there. Graphics were pretty good. They stopped using the Tourette animation. And they got rid of that shitty CG cutscenes from the other game, as well. They restrained themselves on the Neo-Renaissance art and fashion.

You spend almost the entire game trying to figure out who has been planting the bombs, but it's pretty obvious who it was from when you meet Marchenko in Golem City or even just watched the trailers.
The ending sneaks up on you. You can feel it ramping up, but then it's just blam - it's there.
The boss fight

It's refreshing to beat the final boss with a single takedown.
Yeah, hopefully the game making stays at the level, the western studios have had quite a good output critically speaking.
Also, a sequel is already in dev for Deus Ex, so there's that.

which may be the other half of this game cut off. :P
The bad news however is that they expect to move 3m units (I'd imagine within a few months of launch / at full price) to break even.
