Anyone have any clue on the roadmap for this card for laptops?
I think the 1060 is great, but also 500 bucks more then the 960m (although in fairness it has 980 levels of performance~), I'm hoping the 1050 will be 300 bucks less at least and give 970 performance.
I guess maybe there will be laptops too with the cutdown 3gb 1060 that has a different chipset before that too.

How much Ram would a 1050 have? Because if you want to play future games you'll probably want ast least 4 GB if not more (unless you're going for a laptop with a res below 1080p)
Also a 1060 is about 300€, how should it be 500 bucks more than a 960m? I don't think there are prices for the new mobile cards yet?

I mean laptops with a 1060 are around 500/600 euro more then ones with a 960
Edit: think they might have 3/6 gb ram.

I bought a mlg 6gb superdicked version of the 1060 for $250 or so. Seemed reasonable and good results so far.

Based on the specs people say its a 960ish card (2.1 tflops vs 1060 4.4 tflops) with a lower tdp and prob better performance for newer games, but who knows how it turns out.
Will prob be a great card for laptops since it can be 1:1 on the desktop version I think without downclocking like the 1060. Since the 1060 laptops are around 1500 it will also be the choice for most folks.
