Most people on here disagreed with me saying I should get the Pro - but I went on regardless and my shiny new Slim arrived on Sunday.
Goddamn I love it! I sold my original PS4 to fund a XB1 last year. The Slim is so much quieter and smaller than my old PS4, and my god I'd forgotten how good the graphics are on PS4 compared to XB1 - playing Deus Ex Mankind Divided is stunning, honestly gob smacked how good it looks. Sadly my online save for Bloodborne was corrupted so I'm playing that through again - damn I'd forgotten just how good Bloodborne is...
The only reason I've made this thread is because my wife hates gaming, and I've had no one to talk to. so I'm sharing my happiness on here :)
Oh and if anyone is thinking of getting a Slim to get into the PS4 world - go for it, it's fantastic.

If I had to buy a new one I would probably go for a Pro, but the Slim is nice too.
I also need to restart Bloodborne at some point. I think I was about 70% through when I stopped playing it.
Also, sharing the name of your alt account might be a mistake.
