So, who's gonna double dip? Willco?
-
2.1?!?!? :rofl
-
Im gonna wait for spider man 2.3
-
2.1?!?!? :rofl
Just you wait! COMING NEXT SUMMER... SPIDER-MAN 2.2! With more Dunst nipples!
-
Spiderman is fun but I wouldn't spend money buying it. I buy very, very few DVDs. For me if I can't watch it over and over again I don't think about buying.
That's why I plan on getting Brazil :hyper
-
I didn't buy the Superbit specifically because Raimi said he had extra stuff that was cut from Spider-Man 2 that he wants to present in a X-Men 1.5-like DVD release. So I knew this was coming and I can't wait for it!
-
2.1?!?!? :rofl
Likely because "Spiderman 2.5" (Like X-Men 1.5) would've been a rip off of Naked Gun.
-
2.1? lol.
I would buy it if it had more CAKE GIRL aka secret Black Cat
-
She's not the Black Cat - you conspiracy theorists are all crazy!
-
2.1? lol.

:lol :lol :lol

FACT: Cake girl's cake is moist and delicious.
FACT: Black Cat is also moist and delicious.
FACT: Cake girl offers Peter some milk.
FACT: Black Cat wants to "milk" Peter.
FACT: Cake girl is of some unspecified eastern European ancestry.
FACT: Black Cat? Seems so.
Evidence is clear, stop denying the truth.
-
Dude, she's not the Black Cat. The Black Cat's boobs are as big as her head and she has a cute face. Cake girl? Not so much!
-
So? Mary Jane was supposedly hot in the comics. She's a fuckin' undead dog in the movies!

We've been over this before. She is not an undead dog. She is more like some sort of pumpkin-headed creature, or possibly an especially ugly basketball with a wig on it.
-
an UNDEAD pumpkin-headed basketball with a wig. You don't get that pale and snaggletoothed in the Age of Pizza Pockets unless you made a pact with the devil!

Don't forget that she is a very hairy, ugly woman:

-
Welp, I guess I'm buying this.
-
STOP IT SHE'S BEAUTIFUL
-
Good thing the original DVD cost me like $5.00, otherwise I'd be pissed. >:(
-

I love Dunst, and have ever since seeing her in Jumanji. I fucking wrote her a letter for Christ's sakes :lol
-
should have been spiderman 2-2
-
I'll probably pick this up, but I doubt I'll ever watch it. :/
-
I bought the Superbit.
I bought the 2-disc SE.
Will I buy this?
:(
-
I believe there have been 20-something releases of the Spider-Man 2-Disc SEs since they came out.
-
Raimi warned all of you! You bought at your own peril.
-
He didn't warn me of how awesome Spider-Man 2 was going to be though! I was compelled to purchase :-\
-
I understand your pain.
My friend, who was on set for the original, attests there is a ton of Green Goblin/Spider-Man fight stuff cut from the first one. But Raimi says there's no extra footage. Now there is stuff I want to see!

Well, sounds like the "NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE" is just extra one-second shots and pauses added in to certain scenes, nothing changing the film much (or making it worth owning, imo). No sale.
-
It's a directors cut more so than a extended cut I'd say. It adds around 10 min of new footage. Nearly all coming from extra 30 seconds to 1 min added to scenes.
-
Uh, imo its more of an extended cut, since Raimi doesn't really have anything against the theatrical and didn't even feel like doing another cut until Sony pressured him.

He mentioned doing this cut within like weeks of Spidey 2 opening in 2004 I thought?
-
Yeah, because the studio demanded it. I like to think of Director's Cuts as a director personally untaking the responsibility of recutting the film in his vision, not just to make the studio some extra bucks.
-
The studio didn't pressure him into it, and it's not his definitive cut. He just knew the fans razzed him so hard about the cut footage from Spider-Man that he did this as a favor to the Spidey fans.
