No, this is not an invitation for some ass eating feast, but about the "colony simulator" RimWorld. Can't be bothered to explain the game in detail, it's easy to find a million LP / Wikis / check out on Steam. It's kinda like Populous on a more intimate scale.

Anyhoo, I haven't played in a while (which should make this hilarious), specifically, since A15 was released.

So, I'm going to start a old school Let's Play, taking screens etc. Characters can be named, so if you sorta wanna join the fun, let me know here and I'll name them after you. I'll start with a tribe, which has 5 starting characters. If more of you join, I'll add you whenever I get a new colonist.

To add to the fun, I'll do a complete random mode, meaning: random colonists, random spot on the map, and random storyteller (which are basically determining the "events", i.e attacks by pirates etc, disasters and the like).

I'm a bit rusty, know next to nothing about the new stuff in A15, so this should be... special. Let the disaster begin.

Completely forgot I made this thread. Derp.

Anyway I was playing on Extreme+Permadeath mode for a laugh. It was going kinda well. Until I got a bit of a bug problem that got a bit out of hands.

So the bug nest is starting to burn because the awesome plan was to set that shit on fire with a molotov since I didn't otherwise have the firepower to get rid of them.

Of course I wasn't planning on the berserk boomalope (the critters that kinda look like camel with yellow bumps - they explode when they die as the same suggests, for extra fun) invasion to hit at the same time. So the genius plan didn't go so well...

Locked a couple of people up in the kitchen, they couldn't do firefighting anyway and would get torn apart by all the mobs... Maybe the other two could take care of it.

Found a decent spot on the (tropical forest) map, started to lay out some plans.
