UMvC3 is going to be $25. It does include all the DLC, but...seriously guys? You couldn't make it $20?better have magneto's alt costume for that extra $5

Magneto alternate costume IS NOT IN THIS VERSION.
Criminy, no way in hell was I expecting Yakuza: Kiwami out here, or Wipeout to ever come back, or two games from Naughty Dog...
This is like, maybe better than E3, cause damn near all this stuff is coming out within the year.
what is kiwami? a remake of yakuza 1?
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a new adventure in the series starring Chloe Frazer. The game will be offered as both a stand-alone title and as part of the Uncharted 4 season pass---though you only have until December 13th to purchase the season pass or the Digital Deluxe version of the game which comes with the season pass.
Jesus, PS4's future is so bright. MS really needs to step up.:lol

Im not sure what's so funny about what I said. At the end of the day Sony continues to show and present a library of diverse and good games. If somehow The Last of Us isn't your cup of tea there's stuff like Ace Combat, Nier, and the Yakuza games being pushed on the console. If weeb crap isn't your forte there is more quality Uncharted, Horizon, Spider-Man, and so on. Then there's plenty of in between from first and third party.Jesus, PS4's future is so bright. Ace Combat 7 :hyperThis really was the highlight for me.

What is MS giving you? The same tired series swamps of Gears, Halo, and Forza? Halo 5 was such an uninteresting game and Gears 4 a safe attempt at setting you up for 2 more samey Gears games. I guess there's Scalebound coming whenever.
I own an Xbox. Loved stuff like Quantum Break, but have become bored of the usual MS trinity and that seems like all they are able to offer.
If your not convinced after this years confrences that The PS4 will continue to have a good lineup I just don't know what you want out of these consoles.
If anything, the Xbox exclusives are more varied gameplay wise.
Sunset Overdrive is basically a Dreamcast game, Killer Instinct is a great fighter that plays differently than others while being the first good game in the series, D4 is crazy Sweryness, and Quantum Break is some weird mixture of a Remedy game and a C-grade TV show. But ok, it's just shoot shoot shoot. Oversimplification like that is stupid. It's obvious most Sony games try to be more cinematic with lots of cutscenes but I'm not going to go around and call them shitty movies with average gameplay.
So far I only liked two PS4 exclusives: Until Dawn and Uncharted. Bloodborne was alright I guess but at that point I found myself getting tired of the Souls formula. Out of what you mentioned Neir, Yakuza, and Spiderman is all I'm really interested in.I mean honestly I don't like most Sony exclusives. Infamous, The Order, Until Dawn, and Killzone were all pretty meh. But my point is at least there has been and will continue to be more games of different genres that Sony pushes out. If we count the Japanese support, then yes you're talking about niche stuff that won't appeal to everyone. But again thats the point. It's there and being highlighted as an aspect of the Platform. No doubt Sony is helping out some way with the Yakuza games. They wont do much and are only for a small audience, but that means that audience is being feed something. Is MS feeding that audience? Maybe one title every few years that it bums out and then does nothing with. And it's not like Sony doesn't have stuff that appeals to people the same way Halo and Gears do.
I actually do like more of the exclusives on the Xbox One than I do on PS4. Like Halo 5, Quantum Break, D4, Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall and Killer Instinct. The latter three I still go back to from time to time while I never go back to the PS4 games. If anything, the Xbox exclusives are more varied gameplay wise. That said the PS4 does have better looking upcoming exclusives, but as always it's mostly the third party games.I mean I guess, obviously it's an opinion. Yes I think Quantum Break was very good, but pretty much all those others(except Killer Instinct for most) felt like duds. And in the end I don't see how they are all more varied then the Playstation lineup.
I'm not one for console wars but it sounds like the PS4 just targets your niches more than it being better than the Xbox.Yes it does, while also targeting my more mainstream tastes as well. The Xbox only does one and it's growing increasingly safe and bland at it.
This gen, more so than the last, makes it hard to try and differentiate too much between them as the majority of great games are multiplatform and everything comes down to very specific preferences. If you don't notice that your post is fanboyism then I don't know what to tell you.Eh I don't agree at all. Yes it comes down to preference, but it's become increasingly more obvious which one has a wider range of games.

Uncharted: Lesbo Commando Squad is cool, I'm sure there will be a scene where they eat each others hairy iranian pussies out

None of those sold well, (well, KI is debate-able. Success but not a super success last I checked). Which is the problem. MS throws a bunch of new IP's out, they die on the vine in terms of consumer response and they never make a sequel so the "Gears, Forza, Halo" trinity continues unabated.
I wasn't talking about sales, dude. All I'm saying is that so far I enjoyed their first party offerings this gen more than Sony's.That's a boy? :lol

And Rahx, I honestly am not shitting on you. Just saying that I don't agree with your post, and so far I liked what MS has been doing more than Sony but I conceded that Sony has a more promising future as far as we know. I don't agree with it just being Halo, Gears and Fable(I'd love a Fable more like the second game, though) there's been a lot of variety for me when it comes to their output that sadly didn't sell well as thisismyusername pointed out.
We don't know much about what MS has to offer aside from Scalebound and Crackdown. The former hasn't looked good in video previews as much of a Kamiya stan I am and the latter I honestly am not sure what is even going on with it. Then again Sony just had some big showing yesterday while I'm not sure when MS will be ready to reveal stuff, but if MS keeps funding games like they have lately I'm down for whatever they are.
I'm really surprised how competent Let it Die is. Like really, really considering it's Grasshopper who can't make a game for shit outside style (and sometimes I love them for it). It's very rpg-ish Souls. The core combat is whatever but it gets away with it because it's loot & stat focused.
And hey it's got better platforming than Dark Souls!
Jesus, PS4's future is so bright. MS really needs to step up.
nothing ms can do
Yeah, people are describing it as a halfway between Dark Souls & Dead Rising which I think is accurate. Game is more weapon/equipment based than character based and there's just tons and tons of weapons/armor to pick up everywhere and their durability lasts for like 3 combos at the start which gives it a DR feel. But then weapons/armor start lasting longer and you start being able to reinforce/repair them and build your own. Also when you die you start back at level 1 but you can get your previous character back by either getting back to it and fighting it & beating it, or by paying $5,000 in coins which isn't that much for the in-game currency and doesn't need F2P. But even if you're at level 1, if you've got good equipment you've stored, you're almost as powerful already. It's all about getting weapons/armor, blueprints, building and upgrading loot. Also as you use a weapon your character levels in the weapon proficiency which I think carries over between characters.
There's a few janky systems that people are figuring out how to deal with. When you die your ghost becomes an enemy in other people's game. The problem is when people's high level character dies in like the first couple of floors, now there's an enemy that's lvl.25 when everyone else is lvl.2. So people are figuring out strategies for it.

sounds fun, hope its not full price and I might try it
if you can keep some things in between dying that would be goodas a pure pure roguelike would tire me within hours
I assume its out in Japan already?
