Merry Christmas! Just got done making some rum balls that are lit as fuck, fam. The step son is at his dad's for Christmas Eve, we'll pick him up in the morning for two Christmasses with my mother in law and my parents. So tonight just getting high as fuck with wifey and doing last minute wrapping

ha, the christmas taint started last week, or even slightly before, here... our program's primary contractor is off the entire week between christmas and NYE, I get today and tomorrow off by default, and most civ employees are on a compressed working schedule thus take fridays off. and about 70% of the office (me included) is out this week as well. plus next monday is off. is so yeah. lots of productivity.  :doge

My wife's birthday is on Christmas so I work really hard to make it special and make it stand out. So this year we played "Who wants to be a present-aire!" She had answer questions throughout the day to get her presents. I was worried it would be too strange/cheesy but she said it might be her favorite birthday yet. Also, got a check back from an overpaid medical bill, Splurged on a bunch of games (including FFXV) so good!

My girlfriends parents are split up but her mom is a saint so she still got her ex a gift for xmas. It's an entry level record player for all his old records from years ago. Two of my girlfriends siblings went over to his house to give him his gifts but since he's a tool he took one look at the record player and said "Oh... I don't really have much use for something like that" and had them send it back.

So because of that her mom decided to give me the record player and then also had me raid his record collection. I'll be going home with a bunch of cool stuff including a few The Who album like Quadrophenia, Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell, a bunch of Styx albums.
