Title: My top 3 apples
Post by: Madrun Badrun on February 17, 2017, 09:27:52 PM
1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honeycrisp  Top by a long shot.  a true 10/10 apple.

2) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuji_(apple) I like them when they come individually wrapped in styrofoam nets.  Makes me feel rich.

3) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granny_Smith  A token green to overcome red privilege.

I like Granny Smiths. I'm a filthy apple casual, tho.

You should experiment with apples.  You never know what you will end up liking.  Why I remember the first time I lubed one up and stuck it in my ass like it was yesterday.

Honeycrisp, cameo, Fuji and Braeburn hold equal place in my heart.

Granny Smith are only good for baking.

I've never met an apple that didn't tickle my fanny... and prostate  :shaq

Hailing from the Land of Apples (Washington State), not sure how easy my top two apples are to find in other places, but they're my favorites.

Golden Russets are amazing. The apple stands at my farmers markets just recently ran out for the year, I'm super sad.

pink ladies are fairly easy to get, even in the flyover states, but they tend to be the B tier stuff. WA gets the goods for sure. never had a golden russett, i have seen them in nicer supermarkets.

Pink Lady is my standard "shit, this place has nothing else good right now" apple. And you can normally get a big bag of them at Trader Joes for like $3.

I don't think I ever noticed Golden Russetts until last year when this one stand at the farmers market had them. Their skin is rough and almost pear like, with a super sweet ice wine/cider tasting flesh. They're fucking amazing.

The most depressing thing is going to Nebraska to visit my in-laws and seeing the apple selection at the grocery store.

Dude literally compared apples and oranges and lost.  How humiliating.

Fuji are the best apple. Don't fw the rest tbh.
