I took a tour of the studio and then we went out to dinner with him and Ayano (his sister AKA the lady who did all the SOR sprite work). That was pretty much the most awesome day of my life, or maybe it's tied with the day that the singing Daytona guy showed up at the bar

The only reason for that is I never got to play SoR2 when I was a kid. Weirdly enough I don't think I ever saw it in a shop or something.

Agreed.. SOR1 had less tracks, but every single track on SOR1 was absolute pure Koshiro GOLD. More tracks doesn't always mean better. There were certain tracks on SOR2 that started to shows hints of his descent into SOR3 oddities.

Post by: paprikastaude on December 08, 2017, 08:48:49 AM: I've enjoyed Beyond Oasias some time ago on a Megadrive collection, but that soundtrack def made it a feat at some points :holeup I guess the soundchip couldn't keep up with whatever he wanted to pull off, because ultimately it was a ear scratching mess.
