Usually Prime Day is a bunch of worthless crap, though I must say I was one of the 215000 people who bought one of those Instant Pot pressure cookers last July.

Is there any resources online like SlickDeals or other deal pages that have the inside scoop on what's going to be for sale?

I just bought a new house, so all the crap and clutters stuff you find on Prime Day or Black Friday is worthless to me. You know what I need? Fucking gatefold doors.

I looked last night. Was slightly tempted by the Echo. But I don't have anything it integrates with so I'm reluctant. If it worked with Sonos I'd jump on immediately.

Something got messed up last night, briefly, and some stuff was crazy-discounted for a short time.  I got a couple of games pretty cheap, like World Of Final Fantasy for $9 and a pre-order for Everybody's Golf PS4 for $10.  Missed out of Dragon Quest Builders for $12.  That Crash Bandicoot trilogy collection was $6, lol.

Am not expecting much from the regular Prime Day sale, but I did pick up Nioh for $29.

Not a crazy good deal, but I did pick up a new Kindle Paperwhite for $89 for my wife who has the 2012 edition.

It's been a good Prime day for me so far.

That VR bundle was too good to pass up. But it was that crazy ride at the start that got me going.

Waited to see what Dragon Quest Heroes II would be discounted to.

It was a whopping THREE DOLLARS OFF compared to what third parties were already selling the game for.

Cranky: there is a special for the bundle going on for 6 weeks that's why the headset isn't on sale.

DQ was funny to see the price on. Just get GCU and buy it at bestbuy.
