Most will say Turtles in Time right off the bat, but seriously thinking back Ninja Warriors had better bosses, better combat, and more variety between the three characters even IF the field of play was restricted compared to Turtles in Time. I always have liked Turtles in Time a lot, but after a few time hops it DOES start getting old.

I vote for the non-Chinese Ninja Warriors, with their robot hearts so cold.
-
I've never played Ninja Warrios. Don't hate me. :(
-
Fuck Ninja Warriors looks pretty tight. Ive got a ROM somewhere I think, I might check it out. Havent played Turtles either
-
Plaaaaay ittt
-
What about Battletoads&Double Dragon awesome beat em up
-
maximum carnage was fun
-
the entire genesis/snes gen was like heaven for fans of beat 'em ups.
- 3 final fight games
- 3 streets of rage games
- turtles in time/hyperstone heist
- maximum carnage
- captain america & the avengers
and plenty that i'm sure i'm missing. wish they would have done a port of the arcade x-men game to gen or snes back then.
this used to be my favorite genre.

Had a jam with my Ninja Warriors rom last night, its a pretty sweet game. Great characters, art and music.
-
And UNLIMITED CONTINUES! The last boss is goddamn cheap haha. Glad you liked it, this game doesnt get enough attention!
-
I really like it how the ninjas are robots
-
Did you try all three characters? They're suprisingly different.
-
Nah I only gave the big main Ninja dude a shot. I was playing it on my Dreamcast in bed just before I went to sleep, so I just played a couple of levels then crashed out. I'll give it another go tonight
-
scythe ninja rox all
-
Ninja Warriors, hands down, but I do love me some TITs.
-
Fuck Ninja Warriors is going off at bedtime. The 2nd boss is friggn sweet with his chainsaw. Got creamed on level 3, I need more practice. Is this game hard to beat? How many levels are there?
-
My favorite beat-em-up was that dumb X-Men arcade one that never quite replicated on the GBA :/
-
The last boss is a bitch. There's subtlety to the games combat system. Lots of moves hidden in the relatively simple control scheme. Once you get comfortable doing defensive back flips to position yourself for throws and blocking more often the games easy until the last boss who is mega cheese, the chameleon guy is sorta hard too tho.
-
Ninja Warriors, because it's (kind of) a new game and still fun to go back to, where as I'd rather play the TMNT arcade games emulated.

Totally different games. It's a shame the Konami X-Men game didn't get ported to a home console, but there's always emulation. Playing that game 4P was the first thing I did when I got a modded Xbox a few years back.
-
Im finding Ninja Warriors pretty tough. The 4th boss is kicking my ass.
Final Fight 3 OMG, Mike Haggar has a ponytail!
-
Its not an easy game, it took an overnight marathon session to beat it back when I had my first SNES. I dunno if I could beat it these days, I have become a pretty sloppy gamer
