Quote
Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us the singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday just before 9 AM.
Chester was married with 6 children from 2 wives.
The singer struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He had said in the past he had considered committing suicide because he had been abused as a child by an older male.

Yeah, two classmates of mine in elementary/high-school have committed suicide in the past like 5 years. Left kids and a wife behind. Pretty tragic.

He left behind six fucking kids? Now I'm sad. Don't kill yourself.

Easy to say, hard to do.

Actual saddened. Guess that's better than the way most people go, unforgotten and unmourned. Hope his kids can get over this.

I always wondered what it would feel like when one of my all time favorites that I grew up listening to died. Devastated.

As always I come back to this song as my all time LP favorite

Reanimation is an actually awesome album imo, no secret shame there.

I never minded Hybrid Theory or Meteora really but Reanimation was not only really good almost top to bottom, but it was back before everybody was doing that kind of remix album inbetween full ones. And they picked basically perfect guests for every single song, when they picked rap guys they redid the track to fit them instead of just handing them a bridge or something to fill.

I liked Fort Minor too except the song ABC/ESPN/EA played into the ground which wasn't a fave off that album to begin in.

I liked one of Linkin Park's recent albums too actually, because I discovered that some people I never expected were like super huge fans of the band and were all griping about how bad it was. A Thousand Suns. Had to look it up. It's full of quirky experimentation stuff. Then they went back to what they had been doing after that.

And I know the guy just died and all but Dead by Sunrise was one of the worst things I've ever heard produced by a supposed "good member" of a band. How Amir and Ryan got suckered into working on that I'll never know, especially since Julien-K somehow hasn't sucked. (While the reborn Orgy has so terribly.)

Actually now that I think about Linkin Park has done quite a lot of stuff with the Orgy guys, Jay Gordon did the first remix and only single off Reanimation. Before he disappeared into whatever hell has brought back the new version.

Must have been a real bad depression to leave six kids behind.

while I was bullied by our own Professor Prole into never listening to any of their records, when I heard it on the radio and stuff I always secretly kinda liked "breaking the habit"

Chester's family held a private funeral for him on the 29th and the people there were given laminated passes and a pin.

Guess where those fuckers are showing up now?

What's even worse is that whoever is selling this is artificially inflating the price of it by using alternate accounts to bid on it themselves.

Tell me what's wrong with this picture.

Bidders:
18

Bids:
134

Look at the bidding history and you'll spot the same two accounts jacking the price up. Both accounts have contributed 40%+ bids to the seller's products. Obvious shill accounts are obvious. What a twat. Dude is gonna end up having to re-list it because he fucked up his own auction by selling it to himself.

Also, Linkin Park fans are dumbasses and would probably actually pay this much money for this street trash. A dumbass friend of mine is getting a PORTRAIT tattoo of Chester.
