wtf @ the inclusion of Vegas Vacation over Funny Farm.

Still, the original Vacation is his best work.  Christmas Vacation is great as well, as is Fletch.

See, this is tough.  Caddyshack is the best overall MOVIE he's been in, but his best role was in Fletch.

I know someone who got out of a traffic ticket because their Driver's ID listed Chevy Chase, MD as their residence, and Chevy Chase was the cop's favorite comedian.

This incident did not happen recently.

Yeah I figured as much.  It's a shame though, Funny Farm is actually a pretty good movie and was not represented.  Oh well, no big loss, it's definitely not his best movie by any stretch.
