Aren't these young heartthrobs in their 40's yet? And if so, is that opening it up to a new market? :doge

It's not just reruns on now? #mindblown
-
Men stay sex objects for longer.

I thought they were for sure gonna cancel it a few seasons ago but at this point it's gonna have to take the 2 leads leaving and if they haven't left after 13 seasons that's probably never gonna happen.
-
I think one of the leads would have to get a nice movie offer to break up the duo.
-
I swore I read they wrapped up the main storyline with season 5. And now they're on 13? Lmao.
head showrunner left to do Revolution at NBC, that limped its way through 2ish seasons before getting canned. Then his show after that Timeless got a half ass renewal after a fan campaign a couple months ago but its basically dead too.
-
I liked Timeless.

Supernatural will never die, even if most of the fun side characters do.
This year there is going to be a Scooby Doo episode, so it will all be worth it.

Won't die till the bromance dies - never

Will it be able to top the Scooby Doo X Wrestlemania crossover, where John Cena had to help them solve the mystery of the stolen WWE championship belt?
-
I haven't watched since like season 6 or something. I liked it back then but yeah I'm sure they are probably just spinning whatever random ass plotlines they can at this point.
-
The show has a broad demographic base and is more popular in Russia than the US.
:ohhh
-
it also has a massive following on tumblr,, and they have supernatural conventions literally all over the globe
side note: they started this new seasons with nothing else matters by metallica
-
cw fuckery and fan girls, tbh i only watch it cause a chick friend of mine does and it gives me something easy to talk with her about

Jensen is 39, so close enough.
I remember him being in his late 20's due to Smallville and the like. :preach
-
its really jarring going back to that 1st season, they were literally babies :lol
jensen in particular went from wannabe tough guy who couldn't fill out his jacket to..well

. The fans grew up with them, fans are in their 30's and 40's, but also it being on Netflix with what? 12 seasons is always going to bring in new people. All it takes is a episode or two to get hooked. Next thing you know you watched 6 seasons in two days and can't wait for the new one.

Means nothing. The list of who couldn’t catch that dick is far more exclusive.

Yeah, they had a really good arc that ended with style. They thought the series was done. I stopped watching there, as it was satisfying and I didn't need to see something I enjoyed turn in to utter dreck.
Then a couple years passed, I found streaming, and it was just there, so I watched more. It's not bad. There are some clever stories, but mainly I watch for the chemistry between the leads.
-
I've been watching it since about five years ago, binged until I caught up. Was very satisfying to watch a bunch of episodes back to back without waiting a lot like between seasons now that I'm caught up.
-
the whole 'streaming supports the new shit' thing seems to actually happen. I read a blurb by an ABC exec and they're stoked to have their stuff on Netflix because they add value to their ongoing shows. Apparently this is also a contributing factor to Grey's Anatomy now being in its 14th season.

Yeah, I imagine the whole "long tail" thing applies neatly. For Netflix, it's a knock-on effect, but with Amazon's division of Prime(free)/Paid content, there are plenty of shows where I can watch a heap of material, then pay Amazon for the last season or two. I imagine it brings them money.
