Post by: toku on February 04, 2018, 05:42:27 PM: Just something solid, and well polished. Good #aesthetics. How has no one nailed this properly yet on a decent level? And when they do yall bitch about not being zomg my world war

Give me round based obj and tdm. Give me some cool weapons and tools that do cool shit. Give me lens flares and neon signs and rain. Give me that CoD +100 action pop ups and medals. Give me weird maps. I want a shoot out in some cool looking locations like a rave, or a lab. Give me deep personal character customization. Let me dress my fucking barbie doll up with cool gear, sweet face tats and hot pink assault rifles.

Focus on urban warfare with an organic/country-side map everynow and then. I'm imagining something along the lines of the speed/combat style of CoD but environment interaction/destruction of something like Bad Company

RIP Shattered Horizon. Zero G Space Shooter ruined by a bunch of tiny brain fucks who wanted "more guns" because they couldn't understand that combat wasn't about the what kinda tool you had in your hand, but how you used it. So the devs dumbed it down and the community left.

This scene has been around for 34 years and someohow more devs haven't made it their life's goal to recreate shit hinted at in this one line in a meaningful manner.

Imagine a game where all the respawn/death shit could be handled via lore as clones being sent to shithole battlefields to die. Could even include some kinda prestige mechanic where your clone becomes sentient/wakes up (voice lines)

BTW, Project Legion (the first failed attempt to make a PC sequel) makes a brief appearance in 2014's John Wick. Not like a poster, either, but actual gameplay. :o

The other big shooters at the time multiplayer wise were CoD4, WaW, Halo 3, Gears of War 2, TF2, Counter Strike Source, and BF Bad Company.

The best multiplayer game on PS3 barring CoD was MGS4, probably the main redeeming thing about that turd fire of a game.

Yeah a cool internet friend of mine from TW days became a white nationalist. Weird because in that group we had he was the "soft" tolerant one.

I had some fun with this one! It was just incredibly hard to compete with ppl that had the better weapons/gear.

Can't vouch for the PC version though.

The progression of Black Ops makes no sense to me. By now, Black Ops should be where Infinite Warfare is for technology and weapons.

The mobility options added into past CoD games has felt very janky imo. The control schemes and general feel doesnt gel with dying in a second when you see somebody.
