There really isn't any "AI" in this, hell an Amazon Echo is probably "smarter" overall, but if they ever did combine the two... AI would still need a long ways to go before it resembled anything interactable. :lol

That's why I never got the comments from a while ago about the engineers kicking one of the dog prototypes to make sure it could balance "They're hurting it!" "This is why the robots are gonna wipe us out!" It's more like a momma bird pushing her kids out of the nest so they learn to fly, brehs. And in addition to that, there's no sentience there anyways.

It's gonna take a while for the entirety of robotics to become as potentially destructive as a single atomic bomb, breh. And there's like thousands of those now. This is human nature.

If anything I'd rather have something humanity created living on after we do ourselves in with a nuclear fuckup.

This tech can and has also trickled down to proesthetics. The applications for good far outweigh the bad.

If the singularity does happen, it's more likely to inhabit machines that look nothing like these ones, and will be able to do far more damage crippling our net infrastructure, economies, and military systems than any kind of "body" it could inhabit.

It wasn’t how I’d have preferred to resolve the situation, but at least we aren’t being controlled by those damn robots and the weather is great.

Funny you bring up New Vegas, though. I went the Yes Man route, so essentially ended up with a robot army securing the safety and independence of the strip. Hm.

I used the robot army too and made Vegas my private fiefdom. Tho I think Yes-Man made some cryptic remarks at the end that made me believe my rule won't be a long one...
