Yeah. I had wide-leg jeans and pants and liked the way they fit, but there was a limit on how wide you could go before they started looking just incredibly-stupid...like in that photo above.

The giant ones were double disgusting in NOLA cause they would soak up the liquid on/around the quarter if you made it over that way.

Only kind of pants I had where shit would happen. Like with one pair I was wearing a guy came up to me on the street and asked I wanted to "trade pants" with him because he thought mine were cool.

Had another pair that were probably the widest ones. They weren't denim but more like khaki with a two-toned look. The sides had this giant kanji on them and 1999 me thought this was the coolest thing ever. :-[ These pants had me asked if I was heading to raves by people at my dorm, if I was a game developer at an E3 show (because the booth I was at had a game title with kanji I guess?), and then my favorite was when a waiter at a Chinese restaurant let me know that the kanji said "thief" and the staff found this hilarious. :lol

This. I had a few in high-school. Not the Akido-sized pants, but the ones that are just like a slightly more baggy, baggy jeans. They were alright.
