Don't see a thread for it yet, so I'll start it..

Has anybody played it yet? I read on Twitter that it's essentially a whole game in the style of Destiny 2 patrols.
Heard there is no content
And its 60 bucks
:doge
"The problem is that Sea of Thieves is not a complete game," Tassi writes. "It just isn’t. It’s maybe 5 or 10% of one, but given what other open world/co-op games can offer you for $60, it’s just astonishing how little Sea of Thieves offers."
I tried to watch it on Twitch over the weekend and was bored to tears.
The respawn system was stupid as hell. You'd have a crew fight their asses off to beat another crew and then they'd respawn right on top of them and have to do it all over again.
Sea of Thieves is hardly the same as Destiny dude, none of my Destiny people were remotely interested in this game
Don’t know why anyone would pay $60 for this when you can try it for free for at least two weeks with game pass. “I regret spending $5” is silly.I regret wasting my two months of gamepass for €2 on this, I would have rather kept that for State of Decay 2. I don't regret spending the €2 to play it.I tried to watch it on Twitch over the weekend and was bored to tears.

I’m having fun but yeah this sucks. Can’t count the times we’ve just let our ship sink, had one person run a brand new one in and finish off the attackers with a fully replenished inventory.
Sea of Thieves is like the kiddy-pool at the waterpark. They’re both pirate-themed, they both feature fun activities improved by having friends with you, and they’re both shallow in the interest of keeping things entertaining without being dangerous.

What's there is fairly well done. There's just hardly anything there, haha. You can quite literally play for an hour and experience everything this game has on offer.
they cancelled scalebound but released this

It’s crazy that this is basically Rare’s only game in five years and one of the only big exclusives for the Xbox in 2018 and this is all they’ve got to show for it.
Nintendo (and Sony to a lesser extent) make having a good first-party line-up look so easy that I'm happy Microsoft is always there to show how difficult it actually is.Microsoft closed nearly all their studios and ruined those that they didn't close.
I don't understand what is going on over there. I get the feeling that the leads of the game org are attempting to recover from the disastrous leadership of the previous regime, but are still getting stomped and are incapable of recovering thanks to douchebaggery further up the MS chain. (Shrugs)

I remember when they did that shit with Halo5. I was not happy.thankfully this game isn't as big as Halo 5, but I still am not going to redownload it. I've moved on.
The worldwide excitement for Sea of Thieves has made it the fastest-selling first-party new IP of this generation.
Lol it’s like 9 gigs, you pettyI mean I just don't want to play it. Dunno how that's petty.
Anyway yeah, just did a couple treasure runs and a few skeleton attack things with one other dude while getting our characters drunk and laughing our asses off. It’s not a very complete or serious game but it was a lot of fun
