SNK will debut new hardware that features a collection of popular Neo Geo titles as part of its 40th anniversary celebration, the company announced.
“This year, SNK celebrates its 40th anniversary,” the company said in a tweet. “It is with gratitude towards the fans who have supported SNK’s titles, including The King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, and Metal Slug, that we introduce a new game machine that compiles the popular titles of Neo Geo! Please look forward to it. The Future is Now!”

Here comes dat mini!
Of course if whatever it is is under that show cloth,... looks more like the shape of a PS4 with an old 4:3 monitor on top. :doge Mini arcade cabinet?
"GE presented Mr. Bader Al-Asaker with a special gold version of the NEOGEO mini, which is a product designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the SNK brand."
A mini cab would be cool, but also probably pretty pricey for something like this.
Yeah, this one probably will too.:mjcry
I don't see this going for under $100, and probably more like $200.
Looks like a $50 stocking stuffer to me, but what do I know. Those mini-controls :yuck and yeah I know you can hook up an external controller but then it loses the portable factor.
Might as well just do a MAME setup with a HRAP if you don’t want to buy an actual Neo Geo cab. Don’t really see the point, but as a past Neo Geo cab owner I’m biased I guess.
No Neo Turf Masters, no sale. :hmph
Why wouldn't they just go the Nintendo mini route? This is :derp

No Twinkle Star Sprites, either. Game is sooo replayable. Probably had my fix enough playing it on mobile though, since I bought the rom during that Humble Bundle ages ago.
Didja know that they remade that game back during the PS2 days?
It never got localized. It's the kind of game that would make for an easy HD port-up to PSN.
$29.99, end of the line boys...(amazon)

It's got HDMI output and separate controllers [beyond the built-in arcade-style controls], so...
$29.99, end of the line boys...(amazon)$50 with a pad (pads are normally 25 i believe). kinda tempted to go with the $30 buy but i probably have enough tchotchkes as is
for an arcade stick its not a bad price. seen ps4 sticks going for $100 now so $150 for a ps4+switch+emulator stick isn't bad at all.
Pain in the ass to hack, plus more importantly the controls are supposed to be shit- especially the pads. That's why I never bothered with it.
My hope is that they will just release a NeoGeo mini console that is better- kind of like whatever they have running on their joystick that has games built in. Get M2 on that, SNK.
