Should have chosen to have more dragon energy, then they wouldn't have had to live on the Democrat Plantation getting welfare handouts like free room and board and lobster and t-bone steaks.

He got hooked on opiods after lipo?
Why is he getting lipo?
-
Album's still gonna bang. The unfinished beat he used to troll ebro with is better than 90% of the shit that's come out this year :yeshrug
-
like he said, he didn't want to be called fat like rob kardashian :dead
he is still acting like he is recovering from a nervous breakdown. he is calling his breakdown his breakthrough. he's clearly struggling to deal with the power thrust on him by his success, he makes music, but he's revered as a cultural icon. shit like the honarary doctorate, being a part of the kardashians, and one of the most recognisable pop stars globally is a tall order for a stable mentality. clearly dude is a lil cuckoo, you would be too.
"slavery is a choice" is an extreme, troubling statement. but a lot of what he's saying in this vein is in line with the cliche turn to a belief in individualism now he's made it.
-

Is this about Kanye? He got really fat after his breakdown. Nobody knew because he stayed out of public but it was all over celebrity gossip news. He was allegedly high 200s.
The meds they put you on for crazy make you insta-fat most of the time.
-
He's been like this way before any of this shit, though.
You can like Kanye and love his music, but he isn't really any different from who he always was. He's just obnoxiously making idiotic statements his stans can't agree with now, which is why it's being spotlighted differently. For every "Bush doesn't care about black people" truth he has spewed trillions of dumb shit.
I love you, babe, but I think you’re delusional if you think he hasn’t changed since the Trump shit started.
-
Kanye is a marketing genius.
He has left / right / centrist Twitter/YouTube/Reddit et all talking about him.

Kanye managed to do what not even North Korea could do. Get repeatedly into the News Cycle.

Also dude was repping trump during the election, so the subject matter isn't new either.
Yeah, that’s what I mean.
-
If he's promoting then it's working like a charm.
If he is trying to make a point then he's unprepared for the task.

That's a long way from "Bush doesn't care about black people"

all part of the plan
-
Also dude was repping trump during the election, so the subject matter isn't new either.
Yeah, that’s what I mean.
I honestly don't think he's changed at all. Main difference now is his beliefs is not something his fans can agree with or give a pass to. It is however the same type of Kanye antics he has always pulled.
I have a response but I really don’t want to waste brain cells chatting about this complete idiot. Let’s just all agree we hope terrible things happen to him and his terrible family.
-
After the lipo talk and the tmz vid I can't help but think of Kanye as Chubby Hugs

:thinking
i think i get what you mean though. he's behaviourally the same, despite a shift in values.

I think you're all forgetting what he said about his 2020 bid:
When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views. I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth.
He doesn't have views on politics.
-
There's no way the son of a friggin' panther is as ignorant as he tries to pretend he is.

Also, he said this:
As soon as I heard Dr. [Ben] Carson speak, I tried for three weeks to get on the phone with him. I was like, this is the most brilliant guy.

I’m going to find it the funniest thing ever if he swings the 2020 election for Trump. I will start the white version of the Kanye religion.

My mom has a PhD, she used to work at Operation PUSH. Somehow the more and more creative I get, the closer and closer I get to who I was as a child. When I was a child, I was holding my mom’s hand at Operation PUSH. I think it’s time. Rap is great. ...
It’s fun. It’s fun to be a rock star, and I’ll never not be one, I guess, but there’ll be a point where I become my mother’s child. With all the things I’ve done that people would consider to be accomplishments, what’s the point where I become the person that Donda and Raymond West raised? My parents’ child.
-
Aren’t dondas those dinosaur things in Legend of Zelda? I think you need to set off a bomb in front of them before knifing them. Did her doctor forget to put a bomb on her face before sucking the Cheetos out of her faux-Samoan ass and she died or something?
-
I agree with wrath wrt this being very much in line with Kanye's typical MO. The man thrives on confrontation. The big difference here I think is that he finally found a political subject that provoked an intense, visceral reaction he hasn't gotten since putting Taylor on the map. He's had politically topical material to varying degrees since he started, but there was nothing that would raise any eyebrows in the majority of his fanbase. Now, he mentions Candice Owens or whoever and twitter loses it's fucking mind, and the people who hated him forever start to act like they don't, and he responds to all of the attention by trying to frame it on some kumbaya, buy the world a coke bullshit.
But that's who he's always been - a guy who chases a gut feeling and then fills in the blanks to explain his rationale in hindsight.
-

So in other words, Kayne is Himu? :ohhh
-
Kanye is crazy but what he said is not entirely without merit.
I can see many parallels to how a large portion of Polacks always blame everything on WW2 and its aftermath even as to idolize it so much and keep rehashing over and over and see themselves as victims only and there is a whole culture about it. It's a bit too much really and you can't look at everything through that prism of history.
Think Kanye wants people to move forward or backward and stop obsessing over the past (at least this month, next month it might be Trump doesnt care about black people). Thats what the Jordan on a twenty is about, although maybe he should have said Obama.
The thing I don't agree with is that you just discard history, because you can't and it's a fact and it put us today where we are.

Kanye has always been this way though.

Kanye has changed mainstream rap a few times, in various ways. He's a legend. Not going to call him a genius.
In terms of his behavior this doesn't strike me as a shift. Yea Kanye has rapped some pro-black or "militant" bars before but I don't see his recent statements as political as much as they are ideological. Kanye has always been obsessed with receiving validation. He's always been obsessed with branding. He's always been obsessed with media and spectacle. So it's not shocking he loves Trump, who is as big of a narcissist, and is a master of media/branding.
I don't even think he particularly cares about the specifics of Candace Owens' views. What draws him to them is the fact that they are anti-establishment and subversive, in his estimate at least. He sees this as a bold artistic shift. And he's fascinated at the idea that he can tell this to people with his brand.
The most striking thing in all of this is that he clearly sounds manic/ill yet is surrounded by vultures and yes men who aren't helping him. On one hand there is Owens and some conservative dude I don't recognize, who seem to think this is their ticket to stardom/history (ie the idea they can "red pill" the youth or black people, via Kanye). On the other hand you have his team, who have for YEARS watched as he has gotten more and more eccentric/manic and enabled him. Then you have his family, who don't seem helpful either to put it lightly.
-
Turning Point hired Candace because she claimed she could basically red pill black america.
For Kanye's benefit, I think Candace got him hooked into Peter Thiel which gives Kanye another mogul in his rolodex.

Honestly I think Rick Rubin "red pilled" Kanye first, and at some point he was led to Candace.

Rubin follows a bunch of those distinguished mentally-challenged fellows and the only shit he's ever retweeted has come from scott adams and cernovich
-
Rick Rubin is an "alt-right" member or whatever you want to call it. He's worked with Kanye a lot over recent years so I wouldn't be stunned if he introduced him to some of the players involved.
I almost feel bad for Candace. She's not familiar with how Kanye obsesses over people and uses them before casting them aside. She'll soon be in the bushes with Mr Hudson, CyHi The Prince, and a host of others.

This sounds like a huge reach. From googlin’, there’s barely any info on Rick Rubin’s politics aside from him attending the first presidential debate and tweeting (and deleting) a Scott Adams tweet. Do you have any evidence? I think you’re just trying to find a way to blame Kanye’s recent behavior on a white man.
Unrelated, but I saw news of a Kevin Hart sex tape today. I’m going to get my greasy hands on that since it’s probably the closest I’m going to get to a PD sex tape.
EDIT. NM I see he kinda regularly RTs alt-right people. Consider this self ownage. PD wins, but I still mentally link him to Kevin Hart.

It sounds like he deletes everything he retweets. I’m not sure of the time frame of the deletions in relation to the original retweeting.

Scott Adams is not alt-right. Neither is Peterson or Harris. It does flow with the red pill thing though.
-
Adams is a guy who views everything through the idea that everyone is trying to manipulate and play a game, and first the manipulate themselves. He believes that everyone is viewing the world so differently that its like they're watching a separate movie from one another. He's big into confirmation bias and verbal tricks.
Peterson is psych prof with an interest in the horrific ideologies of the past and religion as a product of cultural evolution. He's a classic liberal type.
Harris is an atheist and leans left.
Adams is the only one of the three who like Trump and he tends to like Trump for how he plays the game. People listen to him because he's predicted some things, including the North Korea situation and Trump's victory.
I went through Rubin's follows, and there's lots of Red Pill people on there, from Dave Rubin to Pinker to Quillette and its founder, and even Nassim Taleb. He's also got Yoko Ono and the left leaning press.
-
mmkay what about mushmouth cerny, surely he qualifies right
-
Not even he qualifies as he's not about white identity politics or a white ethno state. He's just questionable for anger issues and selling his own youth serum. Though it seems he may have mellowed out since having a kid. (And he's making mixed race babies, so the alt-right probably hates him.)
