Something I can take a quick turn while walking at work now and then.

868-HACK, FTL: Faster than Light, Out There Omega Edition, and Hoplite are also great games. I don’t know if all of those are available for Android.

Shadowrun?
-
Theres XCOM ENEMY UNKNOWN
-
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links
-
Hitman Go and the other Go titles are cool turn based puzzle games.

Theres XCOM ENEMY UNKNOWN
Also The Walking Dead: No Man's Land which is basically a free X-com-like. Only downside of that is the stupid timer bullshit and having to "build a base." YMMV on it.

Polytopia seems interesting.
>Civ6 is iPhone/iPad only.
WTF.
>Not mentioning Civilization Revolution 2 that is available on all platforms (hell, even got a Velveta port)

If that's not Civilization enough for you:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.org.zielinscy.freeciv <---Based on Civ2, however. Depending on how you can stomach that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t2kgames.civrev2
Also depending on how strongly you can stomach Gacha shit there's Fire Emblem Heroes:

You probably played it already, but Skulls of the Shogun is a worth a spin.

PSP emulator and games? Was thinking about doing this with Persona 3 Portable.

oh yeah, that shit works like a charm too. Can't believe we can emulate a psp on a phone lol.

Dolphin is on Android, too.

Not sure if it’s ever been ported to Android, but war of Eustrath is fantastic.
It is basically a GBA style Fire emblem with giant mechs, and has a full length campaign.
The translation is kind of bad, but other than that it’s great.

Unfortunately it is not compatible with iOS 11. Mobile gaming needs legacy support.
-
That sucks. I was very pleasantly surprised by it. It absolutely could have been a full price gba or DS game.

Reicast (DC) emulator works pretty well too. I'm playing Grandia II with widescreen option. 8) Only big downfall, is that there's no save state support. Gotta use the virtual VMU and save like back in the day.
Also DraStic (DS) emulator... although it cost a few bucks, it's hands down the best NDS emu out there. Playing the DS version of Chrono Trigger with settings to play with one hand is nice. Flavor of the day is current DQIX.

I third that. PPSSPP is pretty rock solid on android. Been playing Trails in the Sky, which looks nice with the higher resolution. Although Persona isn't much my thing, it runs really well on there too.

Polytopia is very interesting, there is a 30 turn limit and the maps arr tiny so its pretty fast.
Then u finish and see other hiscores and are like wut how did they get that many points? Thats when u start another game.

Oh, hey. Reddit was talking about this yesterday:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.NewSoftVision.MyCivAlpha <---I didn't really care for the graphics on this one, but it's the most "Civ 5" like.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.unciv.game <---Simple graphics (top down, no unit models, no world models. Just a hex map and points for your units) but it basically ports Civ 5 over AFAIK at a quick glance.
