Title: If you want me to donate, install a direct debit terminal.
Post by: MrAngryFace on August 13, 2006, 06:20:24 PM
The grocery store was swarmed with firemen and women looking for money for kids who need it. They asked me if I wanted to donate and honestly, its so rare that I carry cash there isnt much I can do.

Now in order to donate to a charity that may or may not get this money to the kids I have to drive to the bank and pull out at least a 20, which I then have to split before donating, but I guess I could donate 20 but my generosity is another issue.

Get a debit terminal going and youve got some moneys...hell even just lemme run it as credit.

You need to carry cash to accumulate pocket change. In the rare event I do have change given back for  a cash transaction I leave it at the register, cause I fukin hate it.

I don't carry money on me either. That way I cut down on the temptation of just buying anything I see. If I know I'm going to a store to get something, I'll go to the bank before and get the exact amount of money I need.

I have this real, palpable hatred of change. I hate it damaging my wallet or jingling in my pocket, so I actually WILL throw it in the trash or leave it near the register. Tip jars are the best cuz then I don't feel like I wasted it.

Alternatively, I hurl it at hobos like shot.
