Paying for 6 different streaming services :nope
Paying boutique prices for obscure 80's garbage movies on Blu-Ray :ohyeah
I was aight with just having Netflix and Hulu. Now I have those, HBO and Filmstruck but still pirate anyway because I always look for obscure shit :yeshrug
According to Sandvine, file-sharing accounts for 3 percent of global downstream and 22 percent of upstream traffic, with 97% of that traffic in turn being BitTorrent.
Back in 2011, Sandvine stated that BitTorrent accounted for 52.01% of upstream traffic on fixed broadband networks in North America. By 2015, BitTorrent’s share of upstream traffic on these networks had dipped to 26.83 percent, largely thanks to the rise in quality, inexpensive streaming alternatives to piracy.
But Sandvine notes that trend is now reversing slightly, with BitTorrent’s traffic share once again growing worldwide. That’s especially true in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, where BitTorrent now accounts for 32% of all upstream network traffic.
I only use Netflix. I pirate the rest. Its on hbo no?
Fuck yall corporations 8)
( How else am I going to watch It's Always Sunny or Curb? That shit doesnt air here )
Actually HBO does have a streaming service if you're with Ziggo, which I am. But it doesn't even mention any Curb, Sopranos or any of those on the HBO Ziggo page. It's just a bunch of BS about Game of Thrones. When I had the first free month for HBO it didn't even have Sopranos available to watch... yea fuck that
I'm not paying them 7 euro's extra per month because I want to watch some Curb.

But of course.
People used to complain about paying for cable, but now they are in a worse predicament. In order to get their fix of all the media they want to consume, some of which is exclusive to different streaming services, they have to either pay for multiple ones, or pirate it.
On top of the expenses adding up, shit is just plain ol confusing for the customer.
Something is gonna give eventually and there will emerge a catch all service similar to cable that offers streaming packages from various platforms.

I think in the end cable might just be streaming in the future.
Hidive has LOGH the old and new series.
Now that I've got money pirating seems so...
Oh come on. Only stupid fucking people don't know how to game this system.
Netflix offers a family plan, split the family plan with your friends or family.
HBO doesn't care if you share your account.
Hulu & showtime come free with Spotify student discount, find someone in your stupid family that is still a student, use their credentials.
Amazon video is included with prime, who the hell doesn't have Amazon prime now? Not to mention you can split that with one other person as well.
Not to mention some of the above services are discounted with various cell phone providers. For example T-Mobile gives you a discount on Netflix.
It's so cheap to get these packages now than ever before. And how much TV and entertainment can some people consume? It's overwhelming

Who?
Can't remember the last time I pirated something. It's been years.
I mean buying physical

This is me, too.
I was the guy that wanted to support digital sales and rentals from the outset. Unfortunately the region-lock bullshit has turned me into an expert on which content providers will screw me (summary: Amazon can get fucked, Apple has my back). I have refused to use VPN to bypass: if I'm a customer, let me have my goods without having to monkey around with additional technology.
Also, carriers have stated they're working to combat VPNs — WHY? Yeah, I know there are contracts covering regional distribution rights - blah, blah, blah — we're talking about customers who have valid accounts for the region in which they're paying. That's the only thing the IP owners and distributors are allowed to police, IMNERHO.
But by-and-large I'm using the local streaming services, no VPN, and it's easier than pirating.
Porn streams for free bro
Oh that’s not true. :rollsafePorn streams for free bro
Only the real vanilla stuff.
Arvie's porn drift is so pronounced at this point in his life that it is true from his perspective.
Arvie can't get it up unless both people deeply love and care about each other. What a sick fuck.
If streaming services do the following I will stop pirating -
- Each service must create an api, so I or someone like me can create a uniform front end that serves all these in the background, with me only having to enter my api key for the service.
- Regions need to fuck off.
I'll happily pay, but not it you're asking me to pay AND be inconvenienced, fuck that. I only buy obscure blu rays and anime movies ( :( ) these days lmao
I mean.. that's the direction things are going.
My Xfinity box when I do searches shows results from Netflix and soon to be Amazon prime; my PS4 has a "TV" tab that shows Netflix / Hulu / Amazon Prime because I'm logged in.. I believe Xbox extends that to searching across all of those services.
What you are asking for.. essentially exists.

You guys are either liars or worse, you pay for porn.
you guys dont have to deal with regions. roku is essentially useless hereIf streaming services do the following I will stop pirating -

My smart tv's roku interface basically does the same thing.
