Everything he did before his "death" was a true classic.  But yeah, that video and song is awesome.  Wonda Why They Call U Bitch is better though.

Also, Changes makes this song its bitch.

if 2pac is dead he must be turning in his grave from his new pacs life album
if 2pac is alive he must be disgusted by the pacs life album

Makaveli was his best album next to Me Against The World and that's posthumous.

Yeah, but Makaveli wasn't like these other albums that were thrown together from samples and songs he had in the back of closets in the studio.  So it doesn't count.

my favorite is all eyez on me

All Eyez on Me is a double album by rapper Tupac Shakur released on February 13, 1996 (see 1996 in music). The album has become one of the most influential albums in hip hop history and is often considered one of the crowning achievements of 1990s rap. The album reached Platinum qualification in only 4 hours[1], and reached #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. Although the album has sold over 7 million copies[2] which would make it qualify for Diamond status, since each sale of a double-album counts as two. The albums is one of the highest selling albums in hip-hop. The album was last certified 9x Platinum by the RIAA in 1999. All Eyez on Me was released after Suge Knight, CEO of Death Row Records, bailed Shakur out of jail as a part of Shakur's contract to sign with Death Row Records; this double-album served as the first two records of his three album contract. He arrived in the studios literally hours after being released from prison to begin work on this 27 track hip-hop tour de force. The prolific rapper finished this album in only two weeks[3].

I'm not too big on All Eyez on Me. It has some stand out tracks but..I don't know. I just prefer Me Against The World, 7 Day, and 2pacalypse Now.

Yeah Me Against the World stands out because it's shorter. If AEOM was a single album it would be perfect. Songs like Only God Can Judge Me are perfect rap songs

The songs on All Eyez on Me are, in general, unapologetic celebrations of what is called in the idiom the thug lifestyle. Though there is the occasional reminiscence about past and present friends, it is a definite move away from the social and political consciousness of 2Pacalypse Now, or the later soul-searching of Me Against the World.

there pretty different styles

Yeah, I prefer the soul searching and politics that appear in these two albums. Thug Pac really was never my thing, and I never cared for the Deathrow crew. Even more so because their attitude probably drove Pac to his death.

Snoop Dog and Dre were awesome.   >:(

Shit, even The Next Episode is a classic.  I haven't heard of any of their later stuff though.

I like both actually. In terms of his "thug" stuff it really makes the more modern "gangsta" rappers like 50 Cent look like clowns. When Tupac was angry, you felt it in the music; same with Ice Cube in that sense. When Tupac was introspective, you felt it in the music. Etc. As far as I'm concerned he's the best rapper in terms of expressing emotions on wax.

But at the same time I don't like the contradiction he was obsessed with creating, and which eventually killed him. It's very hard to label him as a positive black artist or a "leader" when he advocated violence. But he's still the greatest rapper of all time in my eyes

How could it be made after his death? You can't keep making music if you're dead.
