Obviously a doctored video

You know he has changed his minds on all these issues and even admitted it disappoints you that he does. If you haven't shown sadness over his view changing I might have believed that comment sir.
You aren't tricking me into starting a argument. :-*

I'm serious - that video is not real. It is fake, and you are a liar.

For fun, lets play "six degrees of Howard Dean." Ok, so: One... Two... Three.
-
He holds nuanced positions. It's sad that some of you want black and white answers in a grey world.

McCain understands that the world is a complicated place, not the happy go lucky world of JKF's cliff notes, as Barak Obama would have us believe

Because stating Iraq would be easy and be over quickly then changing his mind to "it was obvious to us who voted for the war that it would be hard and take a while" is a understable position. :-[
-
Well Iraq was easy. We defeated their army with little resistance, and this is what McCain was saying.
Then it got hard with the insurgance, which is something only McCain knew would happen. So what he was saying is yes, winning the war against Iraq's military was easy, but no one thought controlling Iraq would be too
:bow

I don't necessarily claim that he didn't say those things, but lets see the complete transcripts, rather than a soundbyte consisting of the word "easy."
PD: actually, many people thought controlling Iraq would be the hard part. Not necessarily the bulk of the anti-war folks (they, for the most part, just believed anything contrary to the official line), but the people in say the State Department who were summarily ignored because Cheney and Rumsfeld felt they'd be able to sweep in, find some C/B weapons caches and something that could pass for a rudimentary nuke "program," install their boy Chalabi, and get out.
-
Let's get that into context
"The war in Iraq will be easy..."
"ily fucked up by gay people wanting to marry".
-
OMG that's it!!! How disgraceful you were hiding this from us, Cheebs :wag

"Bubububu they knew Saddam didn't have weapons and just wanted to attack for the oil lulz"

Do you enjoy pretending to be this distinguished mentally-challenged or does it just come naturally?

Ironically perhaps, the first Desert Storm was far more about oil in the specific (and GHW Bush basically said as much), it was the origin of the chant, "no war for oil," etc--yet, even just a few years later, is considered not only a Just War, but is basically seen as far more justified and legitimate than its younger brother, which was really not a war about oil at all.
