That form of cynicism, that's often used to downplay criticism or observation, is digustingly apathetic and lacks any progressive outlook. Its gross in how cynical and toxic that mindset is.

Any progressive, or positive change was born from people that were passionate, they gave a fuck about something.There's also tons of terrible, harmful, vile shit born from people that were passionate. Those shitty things makes things more interesting at least!

Someone saying "that's how things are" in the majority of situations, that person might as well lay in the road and get some two ton education. They lack a critical thinking to look past the obvious, and that's pretty worthless and boring.
