Title: Everyone send thoughts to Bork, his car hit by a truck this morning

He managed to get out ok. He thought he was going to die. He did 360 spins across the highway. He banged up his left arm a bit but has received a rental and can drive. Send good vibes or prayers to Bork-san.

Thanks, guys!  I came out of that miraculously pretty much unscathed, but am still going to go see my doctor today just to be on the safe side.  My left arm is bothering me a little bit but I'd be surprised if it were anything like a fracture and I'm sure it's just bruised.

X-ray results didn't show any fractures or breaks

Was told that my neck and shoulder are inflamed and causing the pain, given some muscle relaxers, and told to just take it easy for two weeks.  Possibility of a torn rotator cuff, but I'm able to move my arm all around without pain so hopefully not.

Nope, Meloxicam and Tizanidine.  Forget which it is, but one of them really makes me feel super-groggy in the morning for hours.  Not gonna take it tonight since I gotta drive on the deathtrap highway tomorrow morning.

Well, I mean...I did all the post-accident stuff, went home, and worked for just a few hours. Couldn't go to the doctor until the following day.  It helped to take my mind off things.

When I was asked to come into the office today, I really didn't want to, but since I missed my office days on Monday and Tuesday I didn't want to make too much of a fuss.  My arm's bothering me still but it's nothing major and apart from that I'm doing OK.  It's more of a mental thing than anything- felt a bit nervous on the road this morning but figured I just need to keep getting back out there to get over it.  My boss is cool with everything and there's not going to be a problem if I need to take off in a few weeks if my arm is still bothering me and I end up needing to go to a specialist or surgery or whatever.

Carvana, the same online dealer I got my car from a few years ago, had the same model/year/style version of the car up for sale, with about 4,000 miles less than my car had before the accident.  Too much of a coincidence and pulled the trigger immediately.  If all goes well, it will be delivered next Saturday!
