Title: Sonic Adventure OST Appreciation

Posted some Shadow the Edgehog tracks in the Metal thread, but it really got me thinking about how much I appreciate the Adventure games' OSTs.

It has it all: hilarious vocal tracks, vocal tracks that break into "post-irony" territory, some pumping instrumentals, iconic themes, and more.

I got to see Jun Senoue and Crush 40 perform at Magfest last year... while I don't mind Sonic Adventure music (I'm more into the Genesis chiptunes, especially the MJ influenced Sonic 3), I was extra hype at this for some reason. Tons of energy live.

Meteor Herd is awesome since that's the first time I recall hearing 2-step in a video game.

Crush 40 was playing at the venue across from where I work, so on my way out of the parking lot I blasted the Knuckles theme and got thumbs-up from the people in line

Hell yeah, 2step had just hit Japan pretty hard beforehand and playing that level I was like "Whaaaaaaaaa"
