Title: Metro Exodus |OT| S.T.A.L.K.E.R? I barely knew her! [screw epic]

Excited for this Metro, closest thing we'll ever get to Stalker again.

Post by: Great Rumbler on July 07, 2019, 11:56:01 PM: Been playing Metro Exodust on Microsoft Game Pass, because screw Epic. It's pretty good, still has that jank that you'd expect but not too much. The larger levels does make it feel more like OG Stalker, though more mainstream-friendly and greater in variety of environments. Been playing it on Easy, because, you know what? I want to. Get over it. It is really easy on Easy, though. But whatever, I'm having fun playing it and exploring around environments and shooting up bandits and weird mutants.

Also, screw Epic.

Post by: naff on July 08, 2019, 12:05:56 AM: My game (Epic store) just crashes on me on boot. Saw a bunch of people claiming a similar thing with the latest Windows update. Cbf looking at a fix, so I just went back to playing mtg instead.

Post by: Great Rumbler on July 08, 2019, 12:08:52 AM: I've only had some minor issues with the game, like long load times at start up [or not starting up at all]; a little annoying but nothing that's prevented me from playing the game, at least.

Post by: mormapope on July 09, 2019, 11:11:28 AM: I bought it at launch. The game hard crashed twice on my Xbone X on different missions a few hours in :yuck. So I decided to wait for potential patches to iron out game stopping jank.

The first hour or so is terrible.
