Atlus has been in a down ward spiral since ps2 died. Not a great loss.
-
i already played it, and couldnt 1000 due to a bug with Axis Mundi
-
it's an enhanced port. either way, I always wanted to try this for the overall style/concept (it's not about freaking teenagers, hooray), except I am really bad at puzzle games, so I dunno.
-
I've already bought and beat this thing on 360 and ps3, not sure if it'll be worth buying one more time just cause they got some jail bait looking chick as potential love interest in this one.

I wouldn't worry about being bad at puzzle games, unless they've changed the rewind mechanics in this it won't effect your playtime much. It feels like more of an action game than a puzzle game.
-
My only gripe with Catherine is its freaking hard.
Like the visual novel aspect is the best part, but the puzzle game gets fairly tough about halfway through.
-
I already beat it on 360 and, while I really liked the atmosphere and the (relatable at the time) story, I'm not really enough of a fan of the core gameplay to pony up for an enhanced edition. I'd have gone for a full blown sequel.

All the controversy may be taken out of context. Wouldn't click on the video in the link below since some comments said it goes to a porn site. :doge

Ultimately, a great unforeseen consequence of the ending and how its interpreted, is how people are discussing transphobia and transgender people in general. Not all the conversations are intelligent or have merit, but it's a pretty interesting talking point to be brought up.
Having said that, I think the director behind this and the modern Persona games is most likely neck deep into hentai, definitely a trap and maybe futa addict. sSems more horny and confused than a bigot.

So which bore poster is he?

The polar opposite of RE. :lol

Japan is best country. I love their freedom of expression. I will buy Catherine with a smile on my face and even seek out that alternate ending and enjoy every second of it.
QqEra eat your hearts out.

Play a weeb game to own the libs.

They cancelled the Vita port in NA, so no sale.

Play it on easy

Eh, Catherine's solid. Persona 5 wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. Persona Q is solid.

That's getting a quick fantranslation/patch AFAIK. Keep an eye on the piracy subreddit.

If you can't trust the word of some random guy who sucks at puzzle games telling you it's not that hard, who can you trust? :yeshrug
But seriously, unless you care about getting a good rating at the end of the level, the rewind mechanic means you can pretty much power your way through most stages. Only the last couple of stages at literally the end game get pretty challenging tbh, which is what you'd want from a game anyway.

Spieler: I'll tell you right now: Easy is just as balls hard as Normal/Hard. Less so, but you'll struggle with the puzzles your first time until you "click" with the puzzles various means of getting around (which the game throws at you as tips as you climb).
If you don't care about achievements a la demi: It's a pretty quick game once you "click" onto climbing up the towers. And if you get gold, you can skip stages on replay-throughs for the other endings.
That said: Doing hard gold was... :doge

😂 I didn’t even know it has a rewind mechanic I always start from the beginning every time I died.
The hard part for me is the controls though. I feel like homeboy is often not doing what I feel like he should be. Especially when hanging. Like the way it interprets directions I find unintuitive.

I was able to beat the game on easy. If I can, so can you.
Pretty solid game otherwise. I don't have any strong feelings about the current issue.
