That character art for the Visceral game looked a little less lame, but I'm not losing sleep over it. Dead Space is cool, but Uncharted is trash and I wouldn't have expected Hennig to channel her superior Legacy of Kain writing.

It’s just sorta a B+ RE4 in space for DS1/2. I don’t like TF2 that much, but I gotta admit it was pretty creative and imaginative and a good campaign.

Dead Space is basically a straight lift of art design (and plot!) from Event Horizon, but it's an idea and a look that can be exploited really well. It's got legs.

Post by: Great Rumbler on October 17, 2019, 12:04:20 PM: The first thing that stood out to me was how slow the bigger enemies moved and how long the telegraph was before they attacked. Of course that may be because I just finished CODE VEIN which has bosses constantly flying across the arena, throwing out massive AOE attacks, and lots of attacks with minimal charge up time.

It just doesnt work when you copy/paste combat that is intended to work with traditional swords without feeling like they nerfed the shit out of it.

Another note: the uncharted walljumping shit looks boring and exactly the same every single fucking time it is shown. :lol

Glad to see they were able to reused the Titanfall wall running animations.
