Title: Working out consistently is for me these difficult days.
Post by: Rman on July 26, 2019, 07:49:26 AM
Not a morning person, so morning workouts are a no-no. I get off work around 6:30 PM, get home at 7:30 and mentally exhausted from work to hit my neighborhood gym.  I used to use a trainer and it was amazing. No thinking just showing and following orders. I may start doing that again.

But I'm mostly a weekend warrior right now. Cycling and hitting my neighborhood gym. The big difference is that I'm rather rested and have more time on weekends.

Also, I'm no longer motivated by six-pack abs. I just want to make sure I age gracefully and the science is clear that regular exercise is essential.

What do you dickheads do to stay motivated to workout?

I know this feel too well. Started a new job where I’m up really early, so getting up at 4 to work out is insane to me. I’m home by 6 but the gym is really busy around then. I lose any will power to go once I’m at home already. Shit sucks.

Miss being a neet :/

I pretty much have to get up early to lift/do calisthenics and hold cardio until before bed. I do it mostly at home so that’s easy enough.
