Holy shit this looks like a great "follow up" to Freelancer which was one of my fav space games back in the 90's.

Supposedly this comes out next tuesday?

Epic Store exclusive though  :larry

Guess I'll have to wait a little bit longer before I play it, but it sure looks amazing. Didn't even know this game was coming out

That does look pretty good.

I feel like there hasn’t been a good space combat game in literally years.

Glad I won’t have to put up with all that steam bloat when I play it  :doge

I like this straightforward FAQ from their website

Q: WHEN? HOW MUCH?
A: August 13th 2019 for PC on the Epic Games Store! 30 bucks, euros or local equivalent.

Q: OK, but what about Steam? GoG? Humble?
A: It’ll hit Steam 12 months later, around August 13th 2020. We’ll consider other storefronts at that time too.

Q: All right, how about consoles?
A: PS4 and Switch versions are on the way; we just need time to complete ‘em, polish ‘em, rate ‘em, and certify ‘em.

Q: Wait, no Xbox?!
A: We’re considering it, but it would be after PC and other console versions. Keep checking back!

Q: Mac? LINUX?
A: Nuh uh. Sorry, just numbers. And who knows what's happening with OpenGL there.

Allright well I'm not buying it from the EGS but I'm buying it day fucking one once it hits Steam.

It runs like crazy good on my system considering what an old piece of shit it is, and within 5 minutes of the opening I'm convinced this is a must have game.

Game is DRM free, so if you have no beef buying games from EGS..eh wish it was on GoG or Steam right now -_-.

I wonder if there is a physical version coming? Might even want that for this game. Which is crazy since I havent bought a physical PC game since World of Warcraft  :lol

Much like Freelancer it was a great game held back by the incompetence of the Roberts brothers.
