Title: What would you do in this time travel scenario?

A genie gives you the option to put your current mind back in your old body at a point in time of your choosing. However, there are some restictions attached:

- You will forget the outcomes of major sporting events.

- You will forget specific details of terrorist attacks or other major disasters. So while you might remember that George W Bush got us involved in a war in Iraq, you won't remember that the terrorist attack that started everything happened on 9/11/01.

- You will forget Bitcoin ever existed.

- You will forget major increases or decreases in company stock prices.

- You certainly won't remember lottery numbers. Basically you won't be able to easily become a millionaire without doing actual work.

- You can remember products/services that took off. So you could invent Facebook before Zuckerberg, provided you have the know-how to program Facebook. Which brings me to my next point:

- No prep time. You only get to take the skills and knowledge you have at that moment (which for the sake of discussion is this exact moment as you're reading this).


You get one bonus: you're protected from randomly dying until you get to the moment you meet the genie. So a piano won't drop on your head, or you won't randomly get malaria and die. But this protection is null and void if you put yourself in harm's way.

What would you do?

The mistakes I’d want to fix happened so early that I fear I would be haunted by memories of the people I love that wouldn’t know me anymore.

If i remember products that took off, can't i just invest in them anyway before they do, even not knowing the stock market's details?
Anyway, i'd go back as far as i could and min-max as a child prodigy, although a mediocre one, since i can't do all that much now, to begin with.

Also i would kill Adolf Hitler.
